Live television program on enrollment consultancy
In the afternoon of 19 March 2011, enrollment consultancy program 2011 was broadcast live from the meeting - hall Lac Hong University, Dong Nai Province by the Scientific and Educational Department of Vietnam Television in cooperation with Vietnamese Association of non-public Colleges and Universities and Quoc Anh International Education Consultancy Company Ltd. ( Quoc Anh IEC).
Attending the program was representatives of non-public schools, Ms. Dao Lien Huong – Managing Director of IEC Quoc Anh, Dr. Tran Hanh - Rector of Lac Hong University, its heads of Departments and functional units, some typical enterprises in Dong Nai and also with the participation of students from Ngo Quyen high school (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province).
Speaking at the live television program, Dr. Tran Hanh said that to meet the increasing human resources in Dong Nai, Lac Hong University has been constructing a high quality output standard and improving the training program in accordance with new standards. It also promotes research activities among students and teachers, focusing on applicable topics. Besides, It has many policies supporting students life such as scholarships, financial aids, charity canteen and so forth. Every year, the school spends VND 3 billion awarded to its best students and poor students; VND 300 million to poor students of high schools in each recruitment period. In addition, Lac Hong University takes charge of study promotion with provinces of Quang Tri, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, etc. Its contributions to study encouragement as well as training aimed at social needs are always highly appreciated by the Ministry of Education and Training and the society.
In the program, some passages of short reports recording the success of Lac Hong University in research activities and technology transfer were also shown. In addition, the images of software "Outpatient Medical Treatment" transferred to Dong Nai General Hospital, e-library and gifts awarded to Le Quy Don high school (Quang Tri Province) were acknowledged by most of the participants.
In this enrollment consultancy program, Dr. Tran Hanh also awarded the scholarship worth VND 10 million to students of Ngo Quyen high school.
