A cooking competition was held by the Faculty of Banking and Finance’s Youth Union on the afternoon of March 7, 2013 at the campus 1 of Lac Hong University, aiming to celebrate the International Women’s Day - 8 March.
Attending and encouraging the contest included teachers and students of the faculty. The theme of the contest was “Traditional Dishes”. This is not only an annual activity but also an occasion to honor and express gratefulness to women who contribute to building their country and happy family, especially female teachers who are devoted to the national education.
This year's contest caught the participation of 24 teams. Each included 3 members. Teams had 60 minutes including 15 minutes to prepare ingredients and the rest minutes to cook and decorate their dishes. The competition was filled with excitement and attraction.
After 60 minutes of competition, 24 teams completed their cooking and were highly appreciated by the Jury. The judges selected the best cooking teams and they gave out prizes as follows:
First prize: Class 10TC117
Second prize: Class 11TC111
Third prize: Class 11TC312
Consolation prize: Classes of 10TC120, 11TC112 and 11TC314
