In past May, the University Management Board in cooperation with the Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA) held a seminar with theme "Japanese business culture" for nearly 200 junior and senior students of Japanese Studies major. That was a helpful program providing knowledge and experience for students and opening more cooperation programs between HIDA and LHU.
In the morning of October 14, to prepare for the coming course "Japanese business culture", Rector of LHU People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai; Director of Enterprise Relation and Student Support Tran Dung, M.A; Vice Manager of Academic Affairs Department Ho Vien Phuong, M.A and Vice Dean of Oriental Studies Faculty Nguyen Huu Nghi, M.A had a working session with Mr. Fumio Okita and Mr. Masayuki Matsumura - Management consultants and lecturers of Japanese Corporate culture. This meeting revealed that Mr. Masayuki Matsumura will be in charger of the coming course. It will be open in early November and last over one month.

On the occasion of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam - Japan (1973 - 2013) and after many visits and working sessions with LHU, Mr. Okita has greatly supported students of Japanese Studies and Engineering of the University. He has also offered several opportunities for them to enhance knowledge and confidence in approaching styles and culture of Japanese employers. Currently, there are more than 600 students who are attending Japanese Studies major - Oriental Studies Faculty. Getting to know the culture, country and people through the major is a practical need of students. Mr. Okia also added that he will choose excellent students to attend a short-term practical program in Japan when the course is finished.
With the support of HIDA, the Japanese business culture course brings students not only basic and useful knowledge when approaching professional and serious working environment of Japan but also opportunities to get higher education and work at cherry blossom country. To look at the cooperation and development field, this tie also helps the University to speed up and raise the training quality, satisfying businesses' and learners' expectations.
