Wall-newspaper contest held to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day

In order to create a healthful and creative playground for students, recently at Room A 301, LHU Faculty of Banking  and Finance's Youth Union - Student Association organized a wall-newspaper contest to mark the 31st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20) and to express gratitude to teachers.

This contest was firstly held, attracting the enthusiastic response of students at all levels. Joining in this competition was 20 teams from chapters. Each chapter has produced one wall-newspaper with various tittles such as "Enlightenment", "Rising step", "Source", "Lac descendants", "Silence", "Journey", "Nursery", "Boatman",...

Each wall-newspaper was designed in a particular style from colors, tone values, decoration, writing to inside content. The contest included two rounds: qualifying and speech. After over two hours of competition, the Board of Judges has selected the best ten newspapers to the final round which students had to explain the meaning of the newspaper.

The final round took place ardently with special art performances played by students of the Faculty. To end the contest, the organizers have given out prizes as follows:

First prize: Chapter 10TC118 with wall-newspaper named "Rising step".

Second: Chapter 10TC113 with newspaper titled "Lac descendants".

Third: Chapter 11TC314 with newspaper titled "Silence".

Consolation: Chapters 10TC123, 11TC118 and 12TC113 with tittles ""Boatman", "Journey", and "Miss", respectively.
