Cooking contest held to celebrate Women's Day
To mark the Int'l Women's Day, the Auditing and Accounting Faculty's Youth Union - Student Association organized a cooking contest themed "Vietnamese taste". This is an annual event of the Faculty to honor and show deep gratitude to women, mothers, sisters for their great contributions to nation construction and family life, especially women teachers for their dedication to national education. The contest is also a healthy playground offered to students to refresh their mind and strengthen solidarity.
The event was presented by Dean of the Faculty Ms. Trinh Thi Hue, faculty members and a great number of students.
The Jury of the cooking contest included Ms Ho Thi Hai Yen - Head of Women Board, Dinh Kim Anh, M.A - Member of Dong Nai Former Teachers’ Association and Ms Vuu Thi Thu Thuy - Faculty of Auditing and Accounting.
This year's competition attracted the participation of 20 teams from 14 youth branches. Teams had 60 minutes including 15 minutes to prepare ingredients and 45 to cook and decorate their dishes.
After 60 minutes of competition, 20 teams completed their cooking and were highly appreciated by the Jury. The judges selected the best cooking teams and they gave out prizes as follows:
First prize: Chapter 12KT112
Second prize: Chapter 11KT114
Third prize: Chapter 12KT112-2
Consolation prize: Chapters 11KT111 – 11KT113 – 11KT115_2 – 11KT1313_1 and 11KT313_2
Best cooking teams received certificates of merit at the contest.
