LHU to sign MOU with IPC New Zealand

On May 22, a delegation from SoShi Education Group and IPC New Zealand Institute came to LHU to sign MOU on bilateral cooperation and to award scholarship to 17 excellent students in English Proficiency Test.

Rector Dr. Do Huu Tai (white jacket) and Mr. Ichizo Murakami signed the cooperation agreement together.

Receiving the delegation was Rector People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai; Vice Rectors Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan and Lam Thanh Hien, MS; Heads of International Relations Dept.; of Faculty of English Language; of Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of International Business Administration. The delegation included Mr. Ichizo Murakami - General Manager of IPC New Zealand; Mr. Tomoya Honda -  Director of International Relations of SoShi Education Group; Ms. Tran Thi Vu Nghi - Director of Representative Office in Vietnam and Mr. Le Quoc Tai - Director of International Enrollment of IPC College for Women (Japan).

The bilateral cooperation between the two sides has been established successfully.

Before signing the cooperation agreement, Mr. Ichizo Murakami sent his sincere thanks to LHU for its warm welcome. He added "IPC New Zealand is one of the three main units in SoShi Education Group (beside IPC and IPC College for Women in Japan). Therefore, the cooperation agreement signed today is between LHU and IPC New Zealand Institute. In the future, SoShi Education Group may sign with the University and hopefully there will be mutual support".

On the occasion, IPC New Zealand awarded scholarships to 17 excellent students of LHU who surpassed many candidates of Ho Chi Minh University of Foreign Trade, Binh Duong University and Dong Nai University in English Proficiency Test. At the awarding ceremony, IPC spoke highly of English ability of LHU students, especially the three best one who received highest scholarship worth USD 9,500. In the coming time, IPC will organize distinct selections for LHU students.

"I hope that after the signing ceremony, the cooperation between LHU and IPC New Zealand Institute will be closer and stronger, opening more cooperative opportunities in education and training. I wish that many lecturers and students of our University will have opportunities to receive scholarships and study in New Zealand." addressed Rector Dr. Do Huu Tai at the awarding ceremonyMr. Ichizo Murakami also talked to students that "LHU and IPC invest for you, and when you earn this ticket, go to study abroad and come back Vietnam".
