Blood donations continue for needy people

In the morning of March 26, Lac Hong University Youth Union - Student Association in cooperation with Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched the 34th humanitarian blood donation program at the campus 3.  The blood donation program lies in a series of activities in order to mark the 84 years of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2015) and the 16th anniversary of voluntary youth movement. More than 300 volunteers registered to donate blood at the campaign.

The blood program is one of the annual activities of LHU Youth Union - Student Association. It is also a meaningful occasion for the University's teachers and students to show their good deed for the community, contributing to provide blood sources to save people's lives. This is the first turn in 2015 the University organized the blood donation program. Earlier in 2014, over 730 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals.

Speaking at the campaign, "This early morning,  I came here to both help the Organizing Board and donate my blood. I hope there will be more opportunities for me to show the good deed and useful and meaningful life like this" shared Nguyen Thi Lan Anh - student from Faculty of Oriental Studies.

At the blood donation program, 229 units of bloods were collected from teachers, staff and students.

The 34th blood donation program received 229 blood units.
