Recently, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City Taiwan Education Center led by Director Ho Minh Quang - Dean of Chinese Studies Subject (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) had a working session on MA and PhD scholarship program for Technical majors with Lac Hong University.

Receiving the delegation was Dr. Huynh Trung Tâm - Manger of International Relation Department; Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh - Dean of Oriental Studies Faculty. At the working session, Director Ho Minh Quang shared great information on MA and PhD scholarship program at National Chung Cheng University (CCU). This is one of the top ten universities in Taiwan. Currently, CCU promotes the training of MAs and PhDs in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Communications Engineering. With this program, admitted candidates will receive scholarships equivalent to tuition fees, dormitory and research grant (from USD 200 - 350/ per month.
Cooperation relation between the two sides has been established.
Speaking at the working session, Dr. Huynh Trung Tam said "In our University's development direction, we have been strengthening academic exchange activities and promoting education activities. Especially, we focus on associating with advanced educational organizations and units inside and outside the country to offer teachers and students conditions to get higher education. In addition, we incessantly speed up educational culture exchange with countries in Taiwan, Korea, Japan,...so that teachers and students of Oriental Studies Faculty in particular and the whole university in general have opportunities to exchange academic activities".
After this working session, LHU will cooperate with Taiwan Education Center to organize seminars to provide advice and information on study abroad scholarship. The seminar is expected to be held in August, 2015 and then will take place each quarter.
