On 10th October, LHU Faculty of Oriental Studies in cooperation with Tae Kwang Vina Industrial Joint Stock Co. successfully organized the competition "Learning about Korean culture 2015".
The contest included two main rounds: qualifying round (online multiple choices test) which took place on September 27 and the finale on 10th October. More than 120 candidates coming from high schools and universities such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Thu Duc College of Technology, Ngo Quyen High School took part in the qualifying round by taking online multiple choices test available at //tracnghiem.iomfom.com. As a result, the Organizing Board had selected 30 candidates to enter the final round. The finale consisted of three parts: quick answer, situation solving, and eloquence with various topics like Korean history, geography, nation, people, culture, personalities,...
Ending the competition, Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung (Korean Studies major - LHU) won Gold Prize worth 10 million VND. The Silver and Bronze Prize belonged to Tran Thi Thi (Korean Studies major - LHU) and Nguyen Thi Thao Vy (Korean Studies Faculty - Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities), respectively. The Organization Board also awarded two Consolation prizes to two candidates.
