In the morning of September 6, LHU had a working session with Prof. Dr. Shine Toshihiko in charge of Asian - Link Program, Shizuoka University, Japan at International Relation Department's Office, campus 1. The working session focused on scholarship granting program funded by Japan government for lecturers and students of LHU.

Receiving the delegation from Shizuoka University, Japan were Head of International Relation Department Huynh Trung Tam, Vice Dean of Oriental Studies Faculty Nguyen Huu Nghi and relevant staff.
At the working session, Prof. Dr. Shine Toshihiko said they were impressed by LHU's training of Technical fields. With Japan government's scholarship program, they hoped LHU would encourage teachers and students of Science and Technology field to join in it.
On behalf of the LHU Management Board, Dr. Huynh Trung Tam (blue shirt) introduced free Japanese language training program offered to students of Technical fields.
Reportedly, Shizuoka University is a unit in cooperation with Japan government to implement scholarship granting projects for teachers and students of Science and Technology field. Currently, Shizuoka University trains majors relating to Information Technology, Business Administration and Science and Technology majors. Therefore, scholarships sponsored by Japan government will be granted to teachers and students of above fields.

This is a big honor for LHU's teachers and students, especially Technical students who are attending Free Basic Japanese Language Training Classes held by LHU. In the coming time, LHU will open Practical Japanese Language Training Project at Japan's companies. This is a free program for students, too.
