In the morning of March 30, under the coordination of GEN Vietnam (Global Entrepreneurship Network), LHU in cooperation with Startup Project Company organized a seminar named Start-up Together for nearly 400 students.
Mr. Pham Viet Phuong - Vice Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment spoke at the seminar.
The program took place at campus 1 - LHU with the attendance of Mr. Pham Viet Phuong - Vice Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment, Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Director of Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center - VCCI HCM City (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Mr. Nguyen Duy Tri - Member of GEN Vietnam, Director of Startup Project Company, Mr. Nguyen Ba Duong - Secretary of Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs' Association, Director of Boss Training Company.
Lying in a series of communications event of GEN Vietnam, Start-up Together is the first program held in Vietnam. The program helped promote and support start-up spirits of students in Dong Nai, also popularizing Vietnamese Entrepreneurship Network. Specially, the seminar focused on sharing start-up experience and inspiring LHU students in particular and Dong Nai's students in general.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu - Director of Rosa Beauty and Cuisine Vocational Training Company shared with students experience to overcome crises in start-up processes.
The seminar also saw the presence of speakers including Mr. Nguyen Truong Son - Senior Lecturer of International Labor Organization, expert in training business start-up, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu - Director of Rosa Beauty and Cuisine Vocational Training Company (former student of LHU winning First Prize at 2006 National Start-up Competition) and Mr. Le Van Nam - Director of Levana.com Company (winning Third Prize at 2016 International Start-up Competition sponsored by Germany).
Speaking at the program, Mr. Pham Viet Phuong - Vice Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment highly appreciated LHU start-up movement. With this movement, LHU has successfully organized many activities, helping to promote students' start-up spirits such as Start-up Competition, Startup training association; Signing to build a startup ecosystem; Establishment of startup club, ... But earlier, LHU's alumni generations have been successfully starting up in the province such as Rosa Beauty and Cuisine Vocational Training Company managed by former student of International Business Administration Faculty, Fast Food Chain run by alumnus of Finance and Accounting Faculty)...
On behalf of the University Management Board, Vice Rector Diep Cam Thu presented flowers to thank Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh for the support of VCCI in start-up activity at LHU.
At the program, speakers cleared up all queries and concerns of students who wish to be rich. This helped the Organization Board discover potential start-up ideas, especially Social Project - Gathering difficult circumstances and helping them make handicrafts for export of a student of International Economics Faculty.
The seminar contributes to create more opportunities for students to promote creative spirits and self-made will. It also creates a bridge connecting investors, helping youngsters translate their dreams into reality.
Early March, 2017, VCCI presented GEN Vietnam. GEN Vietnam attracted nearly 60 organization and units to register to become members. GEN Vietnam aims to linking organizations to promote Start-up in Vietnam with Global Entrepreneurship Network. |
