In the morning of August 6, LHU had a reception and working session with Mr. Katsunori Nagai - Manager of Human Resources of Olympus Vietnam Company on the recruitment of economic, technical and health groups. This marked a promising start of the new school year (2018-2019) of LHU teachers and students. Meeting with the delegation were Standing Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, Head of International Relations Dept. Nguyen Thanh Lam and Head of Enterprise Relations and Student Support Division Tan Dung.

During this working session, Ms. Trinh Ngoc Dung - alumna of Finance and Accounting Faculty connected and promoted the cooperation of the two units. Ngoc Dung added that there were 52 alumni of LHU working at Olympus Vietnam, accounting for 13%. Nine of them were holding manager positions (11%). Therefore, the Olympus Vietnam highly appreciates the quality of human resources trained at the University and especially has an interest in building long-term cooperation relationship in recruitment.

With the target of boosting the operational scale, Olympus Vietnam aims to recruit a considerable number of staff from the fields of Economics, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Pharmacy and Japanese Studies who will graduate in November.
Olympus Vietnam began operating business in 2008 and was invested by Olympus Japan Corporation. Located its factory in Long Thanh Industrial Park, Dong Nai province, Olympus Vietnam specializes in manufacturing digital cameras, supporting products for cameras and medical products. Olympus Vietnam also expanded its business by establishing more branches in Hanoi and neighboring provinces. This cooperation opportunity contributes to affirming LHU's commitment "Students get jobs immediately after graduation".

It is known that in order to receive positive evaluation of the training quality from enterprises, for the past years, LHU has been constantly investing for its students. In addition to professional knowledge, the University offers its students a variety of skills courses, especially free projects of Japanese language training and Corporate culture. As a result, students have more opportunities to approach Japanese businesses and particularly have many advantages when entering enterprises.
