LHU in collaboration with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) yesterday organized a seminar on "Study and live in Canada" and awarded 23 scholarships to freshmen. The program welcomed Mr. Kevin Newsome - Department of International Relations of SAIT, attracting the participation of nearly 500 new students.
Mr. Kevin Newsome provided the participants with information about studying at SAIT
It is known that the program was held through the connection from an IT former student - Vivian Bui - Coordinator of Language Programs for International Students at SAIT.
After introducing SAIT, Mr. Kevin Newsome said that SAIT training programs were presently very similar to LHU, so it was easy for students to choose transition study or advanced study such as: Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine, Administration, Hospitality Administration...
Also, at the program, Ms. Vivian Bui enthusiastically shared her experience of an overseas student in Canada in general and SAIT in particular.

According to Ms. Vivian, after graduating from LHU in 2010, she was retained at the IT Center. After two years of working, with her desire to develop in advanced countries, she has learned about SAIT and determined to go to Canada. Here, she took 2 years to study and assert herself. After much effort and assistance from teachers, she completed her study and was retained at SAIT, also became a Canadian citizen. She came back to connect LHU with SAIT, also helped students easily access the better and more convenient environment in realizing the dream of study abroad.
23 new students received scholarships from SAIT
In recent years, besides organizing interactive activities with businesses, international education units, the University have also received active support from alumni generations. As a result, generations of LHU students can easily access information about recruitment, overseas study, and foreign scholarships. Currently, it is easy for LHU students to study and work abroad right after graduation, even before graduation.
