LHU promotes cooperation ties with Japanese enterprises

Recently, in order to strengthen human resource exchanges with Japanese enterprises in Dong Nai province, the People's Committee, Japan’s Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS) jointly organized a human resource exchange between students of LHU and Dong Nai Hi-Tech College with Japanese enterprises in Dong Nai.

On behalf of LHU, Dr. Nguyen Van Nam - Vice Rector and Pham Van Toan, MSc - Acting Dean of Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics attended the program. Representing Japan’s Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, Mr. Jun Maeda said the exchange program was a activity contributing to boosting cooperative relations between sectors of the two localities, especially the Management Board of Industrial Zones, students with Japanese enterprises in Dong Nai, helping schools and businesses to have high quality human resources, thus contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

LHU is confidently a high quality human resources provider for Japan's enterprises
At the program, more than 100 students from LHU and Dong Nai Hi-Tech College exchanged with Japanese enterprises. They discussed issues related to working skills and methods at Japanese enterprises, advanced model learning methods to work effectively; CV writing skills, interview skills. This helps students to understand more about the current culture, the human resources needs of Japanese enterprises as well as equip skills for interviews, working in such highly professional environments.
Dong Nai has currently 43 countries and territories investing in. Japan is the third-ranked country with 245 projects, with a total capital of over USD 4.3 billion, including many enterprises located in the Kansai area. In support of the Japanese enterprises, in April 2015, Dong Nai People's Committee and the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry signed a Cooperation Agreement on Economic and Supporting Industry Development to facilitate Kansai businesses invest in Dong Nai and on Human Resources Training to supply for Dong Nai's industry.

In recent years, LHU has been implementing many human resource training projects, sending lecturers to attend programs in the Kansai region (Japan). This activity, once again brings the University, businesses and students closer together.
