Recently, LHU had a welcome and working session with leaders of Binh Phuoc Provincial Department of Science and Technology to make the idea of organizing mini Robocon contests for high school and vocational students in Binh Phuoc province come true.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Deputy Director of Binh Phuoc Department of Science and Technology, "Binh Phuoc is an active province to respond and launch scientific and technical competitions of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations. It successfully organized 11 contests, each year attracting more than 2,000 participating products, over 100 products entering the final rounds. Thanks to that, the province promotes creative movements in students effectively. But in recent years to catch up with the new trend, new ideas have been also exhausted. Before the wave of 4.0 technology revolution, the Department hopes LHU to support and advise the province to organize competitions... ”. The representative of Binh Phuoc Department of Science and Technology stressed the desire to have a deeper relationship with LHU to support many other fields.

Before the Department's proposals, LHU quickly arranged appropriate personnel to support the competitions. The working session was also attended by Permanent Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, Dean of Faculty of International Economics Nguyen Van Tan; Vice Dean of Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics Le Phuong Truong and Head of Automation and Control Engineering Technology Le Hoang Anh - Vice Chairman of Robocon Lac Hong Organization Board.

At the working session, LHU shared experience in organizing Robocon contests and some activities in cooperation with schools and local authorities to hold scientific and technical competitions. Specifically, LHU will play as an adviser supporting the organization, building questions associated with characteristics of Binh Phuoc province, building contest rules and organizational forms suitable to the conditions of the province and participants.
LHU wished to be with Binh Phuoc Department of Science and Technology to inspire technology talents of Binh Phuoc province
Whereby, LHU plans to provide technical advice for schools such as organizing online training and opening communication channels to popularize the competition and especially create a exchange channel with students who love technology of Binh Phuoc province. This activity, in addition to bringing this year's competition closer to participating teams, is the bridge, the address with Binh Phuoc Department of Science and Technology to open and nurture the inspiration for "the technology future” of the province.
Reportedly, the competition will be launched in the middle of March, 2019. The qualifying round is scheduled to held in early August, 2019 at the Binh Phuoc Multi-purpose Arena.
