This program is one of the annual activities of LHU Youth Union - Student Association, usually taking place in April and November. It is also a meaningful occasion for the University's teachers, staff and students to show their good deed for the community, contributing to provide blood sources to save people's lives.
Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan also visited and encouraged blood donors at the program
At the program, blood donors must follow steps such as registration, health check, rapid blood tests, blood donation, taking rest and receiving certificates. Earlier at the 41st blood donation program, 278 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals.
Responding enthusiastically, about 300 volunteers including teachers, staff and students have signed up for the 42nd blood donation program. As a result, 220 units of blood were collected at the event.
