Recently, LHU Information and Resources Center and Youth Union - Student Association in cooperation with HCM City Book Distribution Company (Fahasa) co-organized the Book Festival 2019 during April 16 to 18 at Campus 2. The event attracted a crowded number of lecturers and students at all levels.

The Festival aimed to celebrate the National Book Day (April 21), World Book and Copyright Day (April 23), thereby, arousing the traditional and humanistic values that books bring to mankind and inspiring love for reading.

Speaking at the Festival, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly - Staff of LHU Library - Information and Resources Center said "Books contain a lot of useful values and information. The Festival is an opportunity to share good books with lectures and students. The Festival also aims to honor the value and importance of books in social life, encourage and develop reading movements in lecturers and students. With that meaning, the Information and Resources Center coordinates with the Youth Union - Student Association to organize this festival ”.
The Book Festival covered a range of subjects including economy, science, technology, engineering, education, literature, cultural and social affairs,... In addition, students were so excited to join in the exchange program with Writer, Singer, MC Hamlet Truong. This time, the Fahasa Bookstore offered special discounts for LHU students.
