Recently, a delegation from Bournemouth University visited and co-organized a seminar "University & Industry Linkage - Global Talent for World of Work" at LHU. The seminar lies in the project "UK Vietnam Higher Education Partnership (UK-VN HEP)” held by the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training in cooperation with the British Council.

This working session, there was the presence of Dr. Melena Bobeva - Global Vice Director, Management Department, Bournemouth University - Principal Coordinator of UK-VN HEP project, Dr. Alastair Morison - Director of International Partnership Development, Global Integration Center and Mr. Ryan Miles - Southeast Asia Regional Director, Bournemouth University.

At the seminar, representatives from Bournemouth Universit shared and discussed important issues such as sustainability in the training programs, personal and professional morality, developing soft skills, the value of job placement, internship, work experience, good relations with alumni, building extracurricular programs ... In addition, they instructed LHU lecturers to join in some effective class organization activities.

This seminar opens a new opportunity for LHU to cooperate with Bournemouth University and further to become a member of the UK-VN HEP project. The member unit will be supported the best conditions to achieve the goal of developing an advanced university model by 2030.
