Last July, LHU delegates led by Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh were at Dong Nai Radio and Television Station to attend a ceremony to present noble awards of the Party and the State 2020 held by Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People’s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front.

Attending the ceremony was Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh - Vice President of the State, Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, Mr. Cao Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the provincial Emulation and Reward Council, Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Phong, Labour Hero of the Renovation Period Le Van Kiem, relatives of Vietnamese Heroic Mother, individuals and collectives.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung praised outstanding achievements and positive contributions made by individuals and collectives to localities and the country.

On the occasion, 229 individuals and collectives were presented with noble awards by the Party and the State. At the event, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh awarded Vietnamese Heroic Mother titles to 10 individuals, Second Class Independence Medal to 1 individual, First-Class Labor Medals to 3 collectives and 1 individual, Second-Class Labor Medals to 3 collectives and 6 individuals, Third-Class Labor Medals to 11 collectives and 33 individuals, National Protection Medals to 7 individuals. In addition, 18 collectives received the Government's Emulation Flag. 27 collectives and 119 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister.
