The Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin on January 21 held a meeting to mark the 60th anniversary of Vietnam AO/Dioxin disaster (August 10, 1961-2021), under the presence of Major General Tran Ngoc Tho - Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Victims of AO/dioxin and representatives of departments, agencies and the provincial Fatherland Front.
Collectives received certificates of merit from Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee at the meeting
At the event, the Provincial People's Committee presented certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 32 individuals who have gained outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Action for AO/dioxin victims” from 2016 to 2021.
The Provincial Association of Victims of AO/dioxin also honoured 77 outstanding collectives and individuals. In addition, LHU, Lac Hong Bilingual School and Tan Buu Long Company received the certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Dong Nai People's Committee for their contributions to the “Action for AO/dioxin victims” movement over the past 5 years.

Presently, LHU and the family of Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai (Chairwoman) and Mr. Do Khoi Nguyen (Vice Rector) present gifts and monthly allowances to 90 AO/dioxin victims in Dong Nai. The monthly allowance worth VND 400,000/a victim is the highest value for AO/dioxin victims in the locality.
