At the working session, provincial leaders took their concerns in many issues of LHU such as the implementation of epidemic prevention, teaching and learning in the context of the epidemic, implementation of digital transformation, education quality accreditation, ... at the same time listened to LHU's difficulties, problems and suggestions.

According to Mr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector, currently, LHU has strengths in training programs such as mechatronics, economics, and language majors. Besides, technology transfer activities have been vibrant. These contracts have been implemented in the form of project-based learning. In 2021 alone, despite being severely affected by the epidemic, the University had implemented nearly 100 projects/transfer contracts with a cost of more than VND 1.5 billion. In addition, the University had the number of scientific publications ranked 50th out of more than 300 universities in Vietnam.
Regarding the education quality accreditation, the University was recognized by the Center for Education Accreditation - VNU-HCM to meet the quality accreditation standards at the educational institution level in 2018. Currently, LHU has six programs meeting the AUN-QA standards. It has also been preparing for ABET accreditation for two programs: Information Engineering Technology and Electrical - Electronics Engineering Technology.
For digital transformation, presently, LHU has fully computerized its activities with more than 1.500 computers. It has purchased copyrighted software and used its own system to conduct online teaching, provided lecturers with teaching methods, assessment methods (according to educational institutions in Finland and the United States)… Thanks to that, the current teaching work is not difficult.

LHU especially invests in the Center of Scientific Research and Application with 72 laboratories, focusing on students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Food Science and Engineering, Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics and Faculty of Civil Engineering. The center is aslo the place where community service projects were researched and developed during the recent epidemic. The system of CompLabs, room for driverless car practice, room for IOT products practice for students of Faculty of Information Technology is also located here.
Over the past two decades, LHU has increasingly developed and affirmed its brand, leaving a great reputation in the technology field, especially bringing Vietnamese intelligence to the international arena. Honorably, the University has received 7 Labor Medals including 2 First-class, 1 Second-class and 4 Third-class for its efforts and achievements in the creative research movements.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung acknowledged outstanding achievements LHU has achieved in recent years, especially the quality accreditation work. Mr. Hung also suggested that the University should Strengthen the control and prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic; Develop a plan to implement the Prime Minister's Decision No. 78/QD-TTg approving the program "Developing an education quality assurance and accreditation system for higher education and pedagogical colleges, 2022-2030 period"; Study the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on digital transformation, the digital transformation program of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee and related documents to develop a plan to implement digital transformation.
Also at the meeting, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments and LHU exchanged many ideas related to the establishment of a center for automatic and industrial robots. In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will work with other departments and branches to review and discuss plans to solve encountered problems.
