On July 5, 2022, LHU held a MOU signing ceremony with the Traditional Japanese Culture Manners Meister Association. The signing ceremony was considered an important event, opening a new era for the cooperation between the two sides, providing paid internship opportunities for not only Japanese Studies majors but also students of the whole school.
The signing ceremony was attended by DSC. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; MA. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh - Head of International Affairs Office, MA. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Head of Japanese Studies Department and related staff. On the side of the Traditional Japanese Culture Manners Meister Association, there were Mr. Amemiya Norio - Chairman; Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong - Advisor; Ms. Hoang Thi Thao - National Nursing Teacher, Japanese Teacher, Head of Operations in Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Rector Lam Thanh Hien expressed his pleasure at the signing of cooperation between the two units. This cooperation agreement will help students of Japanese major as well as students of the whole school have many opportunities to practice in the right majors.
The signing of this MOU also aims to coordinate and implement human resources development and training activities in Japan and Vietnam. The Traditional Japanese Culture Manners Meister Association will provide LHU students with Japanese standard knowledge to get certificates of Japanese language, traditional manners and culture and professional skills. It also supports students to find jobs and promote the exchange of students and teachers, and the culture between Japan and Vietnam.

After the course, students can participate in internship programs in Japan with a salary of about 18 million VND/month, with free charge of round-trip flights, visa and housing. In addition, interns can work as internships at prestigious and quality companies.
