A ceremony was held at the first campus of LHU on September 7 to see off six students majoring in Japanese Language to study abroad in Japan.
The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghị and Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, M.A - Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Head of Japanese Studies Department; leaders of offices; lecturers, parents and students.

At the ceremony, parents and students were provided with information about the learning and living environment in Japan. In addition, lecturers of the Japanese Studies Department shared with students precious experience about studying abroad to make good preparations. Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Head of the Department also introduced schools that the six students would attend as well as some regulations when studying and living in Japan.

The students studying abroad are students of the 18th intake who have just completed their graduation reports and final-year students of the 19th intake at LHU. They included Truong Buu Diep, Trinh Thi Kim Huong, Phan Thi Truc Quynh, Quach Thi Dieu Phuong, Tran Thi Quynh Trang and Tran Thao Nhi.
