LHU signed MoU with Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs' Association

On behalf of LHU Management Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector on September 15 signed a MoU with Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs' Association. In addition to actively looking for "bosses" for students, LHU plays a role in supporting small and medium enterprises in digital transformation.

The MoU signing ceremony saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Trung - Director of Admissions and Public Relations Center; Ms. Van Dinh Vy Phuong – Dean of Faculty of Information Technology; representatives of the Division of Corporate Relations and Student Support and the Media Division. On the side of the Young Entrepreneurs' Association, there were Mr. Dang Quoc Nghi - Standing Vice Chairman; Mr. Vu Ngoc Bay – Vice Chairman; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen - Vice Chairwoman; Ms. Cao Thi Thao Mi - Chief of Office and Mr. Vu Minh Hao - Director of Hao Huan Technology Equipment Co., Ltd.

The MoU was inked by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU and Mr. Le Bach Long - Chairman of Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs' Association

At the event, Mr. Le Bach Long - Chairman of the Association said that businesses had been currently implementing the goal of digital transformation. Meanwhile, there was a shortage of IT human resources in enterprises. Even many did not have an IT team. That made businesses face many difficulties in the digital transformation trend. Costs for the IT team were also a problem for small and medium enterprises. Many of them chose to buy software to operate, but it was not effective due to the lack of regular updating and training. Therefore, the Young Entrepreneurs Association wished to cooperate with LHU to research and develop an effective digital transformation model.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice Rector shared “LHU currently has 21 training majors and is looking forward to cooperating with businesses in fields suitable for each major. The University will actively connect and cooperate. Besides, we hope that businesses will take care and support scholarships for our students".

LHU, so far, has been establishing cooperative ties with more than 800 businesses in training, recruitment and technology transfer. According to Mr. Nguyen Hai Quan - Head of the Division of Corporate Relations and Student Support, the extensive implementation of the contents of the MoU really showed the strength of the link between the University and enterprises, thereby bringing benefits to the three parties: University - businesses - learners.
