The Department of Japanese Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies on May 10, 2024 organized the final round of the 13rd Japanese Eloquence Contest.
Attending the event were MA. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; Mr. Sumihara Hitoshi - Lecturer and expert; Ms. Nakamaru Sawako - Lecturer and expert; MA. Tran Minh Thuy Duong - Head of Department of Japanese Studies; along with lecturers and students of the Japanese Studies Department.
This year's contest themed "Traffic" attracted the participation of many entries from students at all levels. The 7 best contestants were selected for the final round.

At the final round, 7 contestants were confident to show their ability to speak Japanese fluently as well as persuasive answers in front of the jury and the audience.

Accordingly, Ho Nhat Minh, class 22DN112 won First prize and Ha Thi Cam Nhung, class 22DN111 earned Second prize. Vien Ngoc Quynh Nhu - 22DN111 claimed Third prize. Vu Thanh Hoa - 22DN112, Nguyen Thi Ngan - 21DN111 and Pham Thi Diem - 21DN111 grabbed Consolation prizes.
