Within the framework of the 2024 RCEP Conference themed Local Governments and Friendship Cities Cooperation held in Anhui province, China, LHU signed cooperation agreements with 6 Chinese universities and Anhui Business Association in Vietnam.
After receiving an invitation from Anhui province and Anhui Business Association in Vietnam, the delegation of LHU including Rector Lam Thanh Hien; Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh and Head of Office of International Affairs Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh visited and attended the 2024 RCEP Conference.

The six partner universities included Anhui University of Finance, Anhui Polytechnic University, Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Huaibei Normal University, Fuyang Normal University and Huangshan Academy.

These agreements promise to open up opportunities for faculty and student exchange, joint training, and research cooperation across many fields, contributing to the research and education quality between LHU and partners.
RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) is the world's largest free trade agreement including 15 members: China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and 10 ASEAN countries. The RCEP 2024 Conference focused on promoting cooperation in the fields of new energy vehicles, advanced photovoltaics, and new energy storage.
This is an opportunity for RCEP member countries, including Vietnam and China to promote and strengthen economic cooperation and share advanced technologies.
