Representing LHU, PhD student Doan Thi Tuyet Le, lecturer of the Faculty of Science and Food Technology attended and presented at the 7th Rencontres de Quy Nhon: International Biology Conference 2024, jointly organized by the Rencontres du Vietnam Association, the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), and the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) from October 2 to 4 in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province.

The conference featured 9 keynote presentations at the plenary session, 36 presentations at the hall, 53 selected posters, focusing on the general theme "From connections to collaborations" in different sectors of life sciences with the following topics: Fundamental and applied researches in the field of plant biotechnology; The diversity and importance of microbiology in addressing current global challenges such as food security, environmental sustainability, and health; Application of advantages from OMICS, big data analysis and artificial intelligence in improvement of human healthcare, food safety, and environment.

Within the framework of the conference, the Organizers commended young scientists for their excellent presentations, recognized active participants, and honored outstanding female scientists.
Attending the conference, LHU had a presentation titled "The effects of peanut oil on growth, development and cordycepin content of Cordyceps militaris " carried out by Doan Thi Tuyet Le, Tran Thi Hong Cam, Cao Duc Long and Phan Thi Pham. Particularly, PhD student Doan Thi Tuyet Le honorably received the Outstanding Female Scientist Award at the event.
