At 2 p:m, August 17th, 2010, at Lac Hong University, Scientific and Educational Department of Vietnam Television in cooperation with the training system of international programmers Aprotrain - APTECH, Arena Multimedia Art Training School made a live television program on enrollment consultancy, expectation 2, 3 into universities, colleges and technical secondary schools in 2010.
Attendees of the program included Tran Hanh PhD - Headmaster of Lac Hong University; Lam Thanh Hien MA - the Head of Training Department, Vice Rector; Luu Thanh Tam PhD - Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH); Le Lam MA - Rector of Ho Chi Minh City Vocational school of Dai Viet; Engineer Do Phu Hung – Technical Manager of CPS company, Vietnam.
The program was also attended by Representatives of some typical enterprises in Dong Nai - the partners cooperating with Lac Hong University during the high quality human resources training for the country.
At the direct consultancy , Mr. Hanh introduced the development strategy of Lac Hong University in an effort to reach the top 10 leading universities in Vietnam. He specially emphasized on the development of research activities of students and teachers, plans to expand infrastructure, the promotion of training quality, especially the application of embedded technology to technical branches…
Then, Mr. Hien announced LHU benchmarks, expectation 1( Group A, D: 13 points; B, C: 14 points), quotas, expectations 2 and 3. He also explained the application of regulation 33 at the school. Since Lac Hong University has trained human resources for the local, candidates will be prioritized from 0.5 points to 1 point depending on each region.
To provide nationwide candidates with information about academic programs, representatives of the Faculty of Information Technology, International Economic Management, Food and Chemistry Technology, Construction Engineering ... specifically introduced their training programs and employment opportunities. In general, students studying at Lac Hong University has a great advantage compared with other schools. That is the school always lives, "breathes" with businesses, thus students can practice and get jobs immediately while at college.
LHU Faculty of Oriental Studies was established just 8 years ago, but the training quality has been accepted and appreciated by labor markets. The differences in this sector training compared to other schools are that they focus on language training to cater for the research on countries’ cultures, while LHU attaches much importance to that to serve businesses; scientific researches of students must be conducted in the major language. Students of Oriental Studies have been given scholarships by Associations of Japan, South Korea, China in Vietnam during their learning.
Also, Mr.Nguyen Tran Nhat Huy - Deputy Director of Dong Nai Techcombank congratulated Lac Hong University’s achievements gained in the past time. Considering the Lac Hong’s students working at the company
(accounting for 40% of staff), the company found that they are dynamic, knowledgeable and skilled staff. Every year, Dong Nai Techcombank has plans to recruit and offer scholarships for LHU good and excellent students.
