Meeting with Lao students
To welcome new Lao students and motivate their spirit, morning of September 18th, 2010, Dr. Tran Hanh - Headmaster of Lac Hong University had a informal meeting with 41 students studying at Lac Hong.
On behalf of the school leadership, he was pleased to welcome the students studying at Lac Hong University. He wishes that they will try their best to study well to serve and enrich their homeland later on. He also hopes that after a long time living and studying at LHU, the Lao students will bring Vietnam’s culture in general and Lac Hong’s in particular to Lao people.
During the meeting, he kindly asked Lao students’ health, especially the students just coming in the early September, 2010. He reminded them to keep healthy, learn Vietnamese hard to facilitate their communication, learning processes and research. With 4-5 year learning time, they should freely exchange with Vietnamese teachers and students in order to reinforce mutual understanding and solidarity between two countries. To facilitate the Lao students’ living and studying, he asked them to elect a group leader to directly discuss issues they care about with him. This was warmly responded by Lao students. After the meeting today, the Lao students will be held a visit to tourist attractions in Dong Nai.
