In an atmosphere of excitement of the whole education and society towards the Vietnamese teachers’ day, in order to respect and thank those who contribute to the country’s education, Lac Hong University formally held the closing ceremony 2009 - 2010 and opening school year 2010 - 2011.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Do Quoc Anh - Representative of the Ministry of Education and Training in the South, Mr. Tran Minh Phuc - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee, Representatives of businesses affiliated with the University of Lac Hong, Representatives of the Board of Trustees, Managing Board, staff and visiting teachers, officers, school staff and students.
Reporting recent achievements, Dr. Tran Hanh particularly stressed on those attained in training, staff development, life care for staff, construction of facilities ... He also showed that for the new school year, to promote training, the school continues to strengthen the output standard by developing training programs, building lectures, setting up question banks ... improving staff, promoting cooperation with businesses ...
Addressing the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Quoc Anh - Representative of the Ministry of Education and Training in the South highly evaluated the achievements that Lac Hong University has achieved in the last school year. To make faster progress in the new school year, the school needs to implement the strategic plans for the school development stage 2011 - 2015 and vision 2020; continues to pioneer in promoting the training associated with social needs, expanding its relationship with home and international universities.
Also in the closing ceremony 2009 – 2010 and opening 2010 - 2011, the school rewarded lecturers, staff and students with outstanding achievements in mission and scientific research activities. The graduates with excellent results representing eleven departments were also honored and granted diplomas at the ceremony.
Wishing that Lac Hong University will have a successful school year and be soon listed in the top 10 universities in Vietnam.
