Scientific research has become a good tradition of Lac Hong University students. After nearly 10 years of operation, from early difficult moments, Lac Hong students’ research activities have currently rejected prejudices about students’ research quality of non-public schools. No one can deny that many students of Lac Hong, with their own research, has remarkably contributed to actual production of companies and enterprises in the province of Dong Nai.
To continue that tradition, on December 30, 2010, Lac Hong University held the 15th students’ Research Conference. After a month reporting to faculties, the Council on Research and Evaluation has chosen 32 topics of both the technical and socioeconomic fields to report to school. After the presentations at the General Council, the conference was separated into two Subcommittees. The first one was in charge of 15 reports on technique. The other was responsible for 15 socioeconomic topics.
This year, the Evaluation Council has highly evaluated the topic research by its details, carefulness during the research process, selective research methods, highly practical application and so on. Many subjects had been applied by businesses before they were reported to the Council. The typical topic as "Design and Construction of WH-PP Torque Gauge" of two students - Mai Duy Dat and Pham Minh Tuan was tested and applied to production by the Plus Vietnam Industrial Co. Ltd. After their reports to the Council, they also shared their experience to gain the company 's confidence when carrying out the research.
