A ceremony to receive the Emulation Flag from the Ministry of Public Security
Recently, on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s appeal for patriotic emulation, on June 8th, 2011, Lac Hong University has had an honor to be rewarded five certificates of merit for its outstanding achievements in emulation movement by the Prime Minister. Specially, Lac Hong has just received the excellent Emulation Flag from the Ministry of Public Security in the movement “For the national security 2010”.
On June 21, 2011 Lac Hong had the honor to organize the solemn ceremony on receiving the excellent Emulation Flag presented by the Ministry of Public Security. The ceremony had taken place in present of Mr. Do Quoc Anh - Head of Department, Director of Department of Education and Training Ho Chi Minh City, Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Minh Dang – Permanent Commissioner of National Education Union of Vietnam, Major General Nguyen Van Khanh - Provincial Standing Committee of the party, Commissioner of provincial People’s Committee, Manger of Dong Nai Police and representatives of other agencies. In addition, present at the event was Comrade Nguyen Trung Phuong – Lac Hong’s Party Committee Secretary, Dr. Tran Hanh – Rector of Lac Hong University and heads of departments, agencies and centers and a great number of teachers and students.
At the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Van Khanh presented the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Public Security to teachers, staff, and students of Lac Hong for their achievements as the leading unit in the movement “For the national security 2010”. The Dong Nai Police also awarded certificate of merit for Dr. Tran Hanh in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the movement.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Van Khanh greatly appreciated Lac Hong’s achievements in the national security movement since the process to recognize achievements is very difficult. He hoped that the school will maintain the top position in the coming years, and this movement will be spread throughout the school.
On behalf of the Department of Education and Training, Mr. Do Quoc Anh praised the contributions made by Lac Hong University to the national security. He said that these achievements are the pride of the school in the fields of training, research activities, technology transfer, national security, and so on. Upholding these achievements, surely enough, Lac Hong University will become the prestigious unit in training.
Addressing at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Hanh, together with the whole school, promised to make greater efforts to defend its top position in the national security movement. In addition, he proposed the Dong Nai Police should facilitate the school to complete the day – students controlling software across Dong Nai area in the coming time.
