LHU takes part in the 14th Information and communication Technology Conference
Morning October 7, 2011 the 14th National Information and Communication Technology Conference took place in Can Tho University with the theme “Decision Support Systems”.
This is a national conference annually held. It is also a forum for scientists, information and communication technology managers to share researching experience in IT sector. Especially, the conference offers young researchers, research students, and postgraduates good conditions to exchange and get help and fund.
Attending the conference was Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuc Khanh – Deputy Head of Department of Science and Technology – Ministry of Education and Training, Prof. Dr. Thai Quang Vinh – President of Institute of Information Technology (IIT), Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Thi – Chairmanof the Science and Training Council of IIT , Head of Organizing Board and with the participation of 350 reporters coming from all parts of the country.
The conference will last within two days October 7 and 8 with 170 reports presented at six subcommittees - decision support systems, mathematical basis of informatics, dealing with photos and video technique, network technology and electronic – telecommunications, knowledge technology and soft calculation and software technology, respectively.
In response to the conference, lecturers of Lac Hong University have actively taken part in it for many years. Attending the conference this year, the university has 13 reports. Following are some photos of the delegation coming from Lac Hong University.
