LHU participates in “Youths Create, Protect the Environment 2011” Festival
The festival “Youths Create, Protect the Environment 2011” has just taken place at Culture and Information Center, Hue city. The festival opened from October 10 to 11, 2011 attracted the participation of more than 200 youth union members, typical youths in the fields of studying, research, management, production, services, national security, social activities, excellent individuals and collectives in invention contests launched by Youth Union Central Committee. Lac Hong University was honored to attend the festival.
The festival honored and awarded 68 inventive topics and 80 typical models of environmental protection of Vietnamese youth. The festival also included various activities such as photographic exhibitions, models, exchange program and vote for Ha Long Bay as one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
At the festival, students of Lac Hong University were honored by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for their third prize at the 2011 Asia Pacific Robot Contest and the champion title at Robocon Vietnam 2011 and others important prizes.
Also at the honoring ceremony, the delegation from Lac Hong University participated in robot exhibition with a manual machine and fireworks shooting robot. On the occasion of opening the festival, performance by fireworks shooting robot made a deep impression on youth union members.
