On the occasion of forthcoming Lunar New Year 2012, a delegation of the Dong Nai province’s Fatherland Front Committee led by its Chairman Vy Van Vu and Mobilization Board “Day for the Poor” recently paid a visit to Lac Hong University on Friday to present gifts to 5 Vietnamese students from Cambodia.
Last September, Lac Hong University agreed to admit 5 students (Bui Minh Thien, Tran Van Sung, Truong Van Thieng, Le Thien Luan and Tep Chanveasna ) for completion of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Their tuition and accommodation fees totaling close to VND 270 million are funded by the university. In addition, each students is supported VND 670 000 per month during their studies at the university. The university ensures to create favorable conditions for these students.
On his visit to Lac Hong, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman Vy Van Vu of Dong Nai province’s Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts to 5 Vietnamese Cambodian students. On behalf of the university, Vice Rector Diep Cam Thu thanked “Day for the Poor” fund, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and leaders for their willing to join hands to help Cambodian students and expressed his hope that the students would continue their efforts to overcome difficulties and achieve good results in studying.
