In order to speed up cooperation relations with prestigious universities in the region and in the world, Lac Hong University recently had a working session and signing ceremony with Korea’s KyungSung University on November, 22, 2012.
Representing KyungSung University was Dr. Song Soo Geun – Rector, Dr. Kim Tae Oun – Manager of International Relations, Dr. Jeong Byung Woo – Dean of Business Administration Faculty, Ms. Roh Young Hwan – Secretary of the Rector and Mr. Kim Yu Jeong – Specialist of International Relations.
The Korean delegation was welcomed by People’s Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai – Rector, Meritorious Teacher. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan – Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Luong – Dean of Oriental Studies Faculty, Dr. Huynh Trung Tam – Manager of International Relations and other specialists.
At the working session, the two sides exchanged contents such as teaching staff exchange, student exchange, joint research projects, alumni exchange, academic activities,…
With more than 13, 000 undergraduates, over 100 training majors and its strength in Information Technology and Communications, KyungSung University is recognized as “the best university for majors” in 4 consecutive years by the Korean Ministry of Education. By cooperation programs between the two universities, students will have opportunities to learn, improve knowledge, enhance qualifications, languages, culture experience and open more future career opportunities.
Also at the working session, the two sides signed Memorandum of standing for the cooperation. This is a beginning step for long and firm cooperation opportunities in order to boost closer relationship between Korea and Vietnam for the same purpose of higher education.
