On May 4, LHU students of Chinese Studies (Oriental Studies Faculty) took part in the final round of Discovering Chinese World - Wo Ke Yi contest held by University of Economics and Law under Vietnam National University HCM city in cooperation with leading Chinese Centres in HCM city like SHZ Commerce Chinese Centre, FORWARD Taiwan foreign language Centre, Taiwan Educational data Centre.
Students of LHU divided into 2 teams has surpassed 400 teams from big University in HCM city to enter the final round of the competition. LHU teams competed with teams from University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Economics and Law, Open University, HUFLIT (HCM city University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology).The contest was filled with excitement and thrill.
The final round with the theme "Chinese Colors" took place ebulliently. One team of LHU performed attractive Chinese opera dancing and fluently answered all questions of the Jury and overcame opponents to take first place at the contest. The second and third places belonged to University of Economics and Law team and Open University team, respectively.
The contest offered students a healthy playground as well as opportunities to learn about Chinese culture via experience exchange. Here, students of LHU has affirmed their skills and language competence by the first prize at the contest.
