LHU held a solemn ceremony on May 18 to mark the 123rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday. The aim of the meeting was to express gratefulness and pride of President Ho Chi Minh’s contributions to the nation including his foreign travels to seek the path of national salvation, the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the building of great national unity, and leading the people to the liberation of the nation.

The ceremony was attended representative of Dong Nai Youth Union Truong Thi Ngoc Hien, representatives of LHU including Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Secretary of YU Le Son Quang, Chairman of Student Association Tran Tien, Heads and Deputy Heads of departments and offices, comrades, representatives of Dong Nai Newspaper, Dong Nai Television and more than 400 Youth members.

At the event, participants have enjoyed music items performed by members of performance team. These were excellent items taking second place of the revolutionary song propagandizing contest launched by Dong Nai province Student Association held in May 16 and 17.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan delivered a touched speech marking Uncle Ho’s birthday and sent her meaningful recommendations to all of the Youth members.
