In the morning of August 28, LHU's Charity Brach held a ceremony to hand over a charity house to the family of Ms. To Thi Bich Dung, a poor household in Nguyen Thi Ton street, Dong Nai hamlet, Hoa An commune. The house was built at a cost of VND 30 million.
Attending the handover ceremony was Vice Chairman of Bien Hoa city Fatherland Front Committee Le Van Cong, Vice Chairwoman of Hoa An commune Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang Trang, representatives of leadership in Hoa An commune, LHU Vice Rectors Dr. Diep Cam Thu and Dr.Nguyen Van Nam and representatives of departments and units.
Earlier, LHU's Youth Union - Student Association raised VND 30 million to construct a compassion house for the family of Mr. Ton Tan Tai - a household with difficult living conditions in Thong Nhat district’s Bau Ham 2 commune.
This is the third house LHU's Charity Brach Since mobilized to build charitable houses for people who are facing housing difficulties in the locality of Bien Hoa city. In the coming time, the Branch will continue to raise more money to construct more houses for other households in the locality.
