Culture refers to cumulative deposit that includes custom, belief, art, morals, law, habits, and other matters acquired by members of a society. Being aware of the importance in providing students with cultural inputs, Teachers at the General English Department chose the topic “CULTURE” for the 42nd English club meeting. As usual, it was held on Saturday morning, at 8:00 in Room E104.
The atmosphere of the E-club meeting was warmed up with some activities which aimed towards discovering the term “Culture”. They really brought full of surprise and fun to the participants. After that, the excited members contributed their valuable ideas about the topic. During the discussion, many of them showed that they possessed certain knowledge related to international culture which greatly aroused the others’ interest. What made them burst into laughter was the last activity called “Disguise” in which they had to wear make-up to become a foreigner and express their thoughts about Vietnamese culture. Coming to this meeting, the students were both fully-equipped with useful cultural information and motivating games for learning.
The E-club meeting finished at 10.30 a.m
