Recently, LHU students of Chinese Studies branch - Faculty of Oriental Studies excellently won second prize at "Discovering New Chinese World - Xin Wo Ke Yi” contest held by University of Social Sciences and Humanities - HCM City Vietnam National University in cooperation with leading Chinese Centers in HCM City like SHZ Commerce Chinese Centre, Forward Taiwanese Foreign Language Center, Taiwanese Education Data Center under the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office.
To enter the final round, LHU team named Luc Lac had surpassed many teams from big universities in Ho Chi Minh City and across the countries. As a result, the Organizing Board selected five teams from LHU, HCM City University of Social Sciences and Humanities to compete at the final competition. The final comtest was filled with excitement and thrill.

The final round with the theme "Chinese Colors" took place ebulliently. Junior students of Chinese Studies under LHU's Oriental Studies Faculty played a special dancing and singing item - a potpourri of songs "Cau chuyen tinh toi va nua vang trang" (My love story and a half of the moon). Also, the team joined in an interesting game "Guessing the proverb" and gained high scores. As a result, LHU team overcame opponents to take second place at the contest.

The competition "Xin Wo ke Yi" has offered students a healthy playground as well as opportunities to learn about Chinese language and culture via experience exchange. Here, students of LHU have proved their skills and language competence via the second prize at the contest.
