Recently, on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2016, Lac Hong University's Youth Union – Student Association in cooperation with Dong Nai AO/dioxin Victims’ Association visited and presented Tet gifts and subsidies to 20 AO/dioxin victims (fourth quarter of 2015 and first quarter of 2016 ) in Cam My and Dinh Quan districts, Dong Nai province. Each gift was worth VND 1,700,000.

Earlier, in the second and third quarters of 2015, LHU Youth Union – Student Association handed over each gift worth VND 1,200,000 to 20 AO/ dioxin victims in these districts.
This is one of the activities the University quarterly carries out for 20 AO/dioxin victims in Cam My and Dinh Quan districts. This aims to encourage and help families who suffered severe consequences of war. In addition to quarterly subsidies, the University awarded Tet gifts to help AO/dioxin victims enjoy a happy New Year.
The charity activity also aims to educate morality and lifestyle for LHU students. It provides LHU youth members with a chance to learn about our precious tradition “When drinking water, remember its source” and understand more about the difficult circumstances of AO/ dioxin victims.
