Six teams from Dong Nai-based LHU have been named for the final round of 2017 National Robot Contest, which will be held in Sports Center in Ninh Binh this May.
Six teams from LHU have earned the ticket to the finals of 2017 Vietnam Robocon.
Eight teams representing the Southern region were selected for the national final competition.
Yesterday, 23 teams from six universities and colleges competed at the Southern regional qualifying round of 2017 Robocon Vietnam kicked off at Ho Xuan Huong Sports Club in district 3, Ho Chi Minh City. As a result, the Organizing Board has selected eight excellent teams for the final round of Robocon Vietnam. Of the eight teams, six come from LHU. The rest teams are from HCM City University of Technical Education.
LHU had won six championship titles at Vietnam Robocon from 2010 to 2016, except 2015 and was the winner at the 2014 ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest. The final round of 2017 National Robot Contest will be held in Ninh Binh province this May, attracting the participation of 32 teams from universities, colleges and vocational schools across the country. In addition, the winner of the Robocon 2017 will represent Vietnam to attend the 2017 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest themed "The Landing Disc" which will be organized in Tokyo, Japan in August.
