The 28th LHU Science and Technology Festival was successfully held on June 15 at Room B203 at campus 1. Earlier, after many assessment procedures, the Assessment Council had selected 21 research papers of lecturers and students of Economic and Technical groups to report at the Festival.
Vice Director of Center of Science and Technology Development and Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City Tran Duc Su presented the Eureka Prize for Scientific Research at the event.
The Festival saw the presence of Standing Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Chairman of Trade Union Diep Cam Thu and Vice Director of Center of Science and Technology Development and Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City Tran Duc Su.
Author Nguyen Tuan Anh - lecturer of Civil Engineering faculty presented his research paper at the Festival.
After the opening program at room B203, the Festival was divided into six subcommittees including Finance and Accounting, Mechatronics - Electronics, International Business Administration, Chemical and Environmental Engineering and Introdution about the Eureka Prize for Scientific Research and How to select topics and present research papers.

According to DSc Nguyen Vu Quynh - Manager of Scientific Research Department, up to late 2016, LHU had 40 Scientific Research Conferences of both lecturers and students with 4,781 research papers at Faculty level, 873 at University level, 497 research topics of lecturers and 295 of research papers published in domestic and foreign journals (including 119 international papers and 32 ones belonging to ISI subject category). Presently, LHU has successfully transferred 31 projects which were directly applied in production.

Over the past 10 years, more than 30 Scientific Research Conferences of both lecturers and students. LHU's movement of scientific research and technological innovation has become a vibrant activity and a bright spot in training. This research activity is regarded by the society and highly appreciated its science and applications, thereby meeting the needs of the community.
In the middle of April, 2017, at the Non-Public Universities Conferences, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that LHU was ranked 59th out of the non-public universities in Vietnam in terms of research activities - technology transfer.
