During his visit to Dong Nai province, Mr. Park Noh Wan - Consul General of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City paid a special visit and gave 18 scholarships to LHU students of Korean Studies. The event took place on November 3 at the first campus.

Consul General Park Noh Wan handed over 18 scholarships to students of Korean Studies major.
At the meeting with LHU students, the Consul General expressed his deep concern for the education of Vietnam in general and Dong Nai province in particular, including the great contribution of LHU. He highly appreciated activities of Korean Studies at the University, also congratulated its 20 year anniversary of establishment.

While exchanging, the Consul General used both Korean - Vietnamese to express his love for Vietnam country, especially for students. In addition, the Consul General shared many interesting things about Korean country and people as well as the good relationship between the two countries over the past 25 years. Thus, for students who wish to go to Korea to study or work after graduation, he will support them all his best. He personally believed that it was the young generation of students here would be the the best bridge for the development and flourishing friendship between Korea and Vietnam. On this occasion, he presented 18 scholarships to excellent students of Korean Studies.
