A delegation from CP Vietnam Corporation and Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) on December 7 had a working session with LHU to discuss the training cooperation on Master's Program in iBMA (International Business Management) and iMTM (International Modern Trade Business Management). In addition, the two sides discussed collaborative program in Farm Management Technology; Food Processing Technology and Languages.

Receiving the delegation were Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Manager of International Relation Department Huynh Trung Tam, Vice Manager of Scientific Research Department Nguyen Thanh Lam, leaders of Faculties of Chemical and Environmental Engineering Faculty, English Language and International Business Administration. The delegation included Mr. Chinoros Benjachavakul -Vice General Director of Human Resources of CP Vienam and Ms. Tanarat Teeratanakiat - Vice Director of International Relation and Recruitment of PIM.

It is known that CP Viet Nam and PIM are parts of Thailand CP Corporation. PIM majors in education, considered as a subsidiary with outstanding growth. Currently, PIM trains 16,000 students from 18 countries. With the desire to expand the international training activities of both sides, through the introduction of the CP Vietnam, PIM and LHU have many similarities in training disciplines such as: Languages, Food, and Business Management. In 2018, PIM aims to train Automatic Mechanics Technology.
Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan looked forward to the opportunity to cooperate with PIM - Thailand.
At the working session, PIM made a proposal on Student exchange, Supporting LHU students to take internship at PIM or enterprises of CP Vietnam and in Thailand, Exchanging English majored lecturers to increase international communication skills, Scientific research cooperation under the guidance or participation with the professors of PIM. To soon implement these exchanges, both sides will complete the cooperation agreement in the coming time.
The success of this working session contributes to promoting the value of the memorandum of cooperation between C.P Viet Nam and LHU (in June 2014), also opening the international cooperation exchange opportunity for the two sides. For 20 years of establishment and development, LHU has signed more than 560 agreements on training cooperation and human resources supply with enterprises, including 152 foreign-invested ones. This is the opportunity for the University and especially its generations of students to be confident in their career path.
