On March 11, 13 teams with more than 100 engineering students from many universities competed in "Maker to Entrepreneur 2022" (MEP) contest. In which, students of LHU won Second prize worth USD 300.
The event is a part of Building the University-Industry Learning and Development through Innovation and Technology (BUILD-IT) project, sponsored by USAID, implemented by Arizona State University (ASU) and Dow Vietnam STEM program.
LHU Team 3 presented the ENRE project at MEP competition
Team 3 from LHU competed in MEP with the project ENRE (Environment Recycle) - Recycling agricultural by-products, Producing disposable plastic substitutes.
Talking about the project ENRE, a representative of LHU Team 3 informed "ENRE researches and develops production machines. It can flexibly change the mold to form products or adjust the temperature to suit each type of material. Products such as plates, cups, food containers... are created to create more values of agricultural by-products, aiming to ensure health and food safety and friendly environment. The project helps to increase the value of Vietnam's agricultural products…"
