MoUs with Japanese and Chinese enterprises inked

The Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU on September 22 held a ceremony to sign MoUs with Japanese and Chinese enterprises. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; MA. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh – Head of International Relations Office, Vice Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; Dr. Nguyen Van Trung – Director of Center for Admissions and Public Relations; Mr. Nguyen Hai Quan – Head of the Division of Corporate Relations and Student Support, lecturers of Chinese Language and Japanese Studies, and representatives of seven Japanese and Chinese enterprises.

The aim of MoU signing is to create more exchange and support opportunities for the mutual development between the University and businesses, so that businesses can soon approach students while at university, and students can soon contact them to find internship opportunities as well as jobs in the future.

In addition, the enterprises wished to connect and support more disadvantaged students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. At the event, two Japanese enterprises sponsored the Japanese Studies Department with a total amount of VND 50 million. And two Chinese enterprises donated a total of VND 170 million for the scholarship fund for difficult students of the Chinese Language Department.

The MoUs signing ceremony took place successfully, promising mutual development between parties in the future.
