On the morning of April 13, 2024, at campus 1, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU solemnly organized an Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) meeting, MoU signing ceremony and comments on building training programs for the 2024 - 2028 period.
Participating in the event were Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector, MBA. Huynh Thuc Hieu - Deputy Director of the Center of Admissions and Public Relations; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; faculty members and staff; and representatives of 22 businesses.

Establishing the IAB is LHU's policy, aiming to build connections between the University and domestic and foreign professional associations and businesses; contribute to the University's building and development in teaching; learning; applied research; collaboration; seeking scholarship, internship and employment opportunities for students.
The Faculty of Oriental Studies' IAB comprises 25 members including Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Head; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Toan - Director of Kokoro Human Resources Consulting Co., Ltd. - Deputy Head; Mr. Nguyen Tan Binh - Internship Manager of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Secretary and 22 members from 22 Korean, Japanese and Chinese businesses in Dong Nai and nearby provinces.

The launch of the IAB promises to bring positive changes to training and scientific research; create favorable conditions for students to study, research, practice as well as equip knowledge, expertise, and skills for their working process after graduation.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Oriental Studies received stakeholders' comments on programme objectives and expected learning outcomes for the 2024 - 2028 period of the three majors: Korean Studies, Japanese Studies and Chinese Language. These valuable comments will contribute significantly to the Faculty's perfection of program learning outcomes towards increasingly meeting society needs.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies sent heartfelt thanks to the businesses for accompanying the Faculty in particular and LHU in general during the past time, at the same time expressing the hope that the relationship between the Faculty and the businesses will be stronger and mutually beneficial.
At the event, the MoU signing ceremony also took place between LHU and Chinese and Japanese businesses, which marks an important event, opening up many new cooperation opportunities between LHU with:
