Taiwan is about 1664km to the Northeast VietNam- the beautiful island country has so many people captivated by its beauty of nature and magnificent landscape. Not only famous for the entertainment industry with many loved music stars, but now Taiwan is also well-known by high quality educational system meeting international standards, modern facilities. Taiwan has many reasons to become an attractive destination, a start for students’ future success.
Taiwan belongs to archipelagos along the Asian continental shelf, Western Asia Pacific, bordered by East Sea to the South, Mediterranean to the East. Natural conditions are quite pleasant, consistent with Vietnamese. Affected by seas and oceans, Taiwanese climate is neither too cold nor hot, close to the climate of North Vietnam, creating favorable conditions for you to easily adapt when living and studying here.
High living standard and friendly environment are also advantages for you to study in Taiwan. Taiwan's population only has 23 million people but total domestic income (GDP) is USD 313.9 billion, GDP per capita reaches USD 12.916. Modern facilities and means of transportation are convenient for travel, particularly Taiwanese public transportation system highly developed. On the other hand, Taiwanese are very friendly and always willing to help new friends far away, especially overseas students. Vietnamese students in particular and international students in general are always warmly welcomed and quickly helped by indigenous people to adapt, integrate with the life there.
Also, while studying in Taiwan you have the opportunity to work overtime 12 hours per week and during vacations you can work 16 hours per week with popular wages USD 500-700 per month. Being fluent in Chinese, you can get higher wages when working as an interpreter for companies or a Vietnamese teacher for Taiwanese. Some schools also give students opportunities to take part-time jobs in campuses. This is also an element making Taiwan increasingly attract more international students. To be able to work overtime, however, you must complete at least two semesters in the program or a course lasting one year and must be licensed to do part-time jobs (this permit is valid for 6 months , then you must request an extension.)
Besides, applications to schools in Taiwan are rather easy. Many schools do not require entrance examinations as well Chinese language. An applicant only needs a 450-500 TOEFL certificate and a working process involved in research activities related to the major.
